An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant to join a successful and well-established business based in Middleton. This is a full-time, office-based position supporting the Managing Director in a varied and fast-paced role that requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
Personal Assistant – Middleton – Full-Time, Office-Based
Salary - £40,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Managing Director, including proactive diary management, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and managing the activities of the company driver.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the first point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, handling calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
* Document Management: Draft, format, and proofread confidential documents and correspondence to a high standard.
* Meeting Coordination: Organise and attend meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action points.
* Travel Arrangements: Arrange complex travel and accommodation for the MD and senior team members.
* Confidentiality: Handle sensitive matters with integrity and professionalism.
* Office Organisation: Maintain a well-organised working environment for the MD and oversee office supply management.
* Project & Event Support: Provide ad-hoc support on projects and assist in planning and coordinating internal events and conferences.
Candidate Requirements:
* Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Able to work independently, take initiative, and remain composed under pressure.
* Demonstrates absolute discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
