Assembly Technician's Benefits

Assembly Technicians Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to all EHS guidelines, ensuring the use of defined PPE at all times for a safe working environment.
* Follow established procedures to produce high-quality components within set timeframes.
* Seek guidance or support when unsure, before commencing work.
* Pick and prepare kits from provided documentation, which may include sub-assemblies, spares kits, or pump units.
* Perform manual machining tasks on certain sub-assemblies, such as diaphragm components.
* Build pumps from supplied kits to meet customer requirements and daily production targets.
* Conduct pump testing and accurately record all necessary data.
* Provide feedback to the Production Manager on potential process optimisations to enhance efficiency.
* Maintain clear communication with the Manager and colleagues, contributing to daily production reviews.
* Report ongoing updates to the Manager and collaborate closely with the team.
* Identify and resolve issues encountered during the manufacturing process, ensuring minimal disruptions.
Assembly Technician's Experience, Education, and Certifications:
* 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
* GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science.
Assembly Technician's Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong mechanical aptitude and skills.
* Understanding of materials used in manufacturing.
* Ability to communicate mechanical issues effectively.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Team player with the ability to manage individual tasks.
* Capable of multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines.
* Proficient in identifying and resolving manufacturing challenges.
* Able to recommend tools or process enhancements to the Production Supervisor.
* Good mobility to safely handle and transport machine components using appropriate manual techniques and equipment.
