Information: Position: Security Officer Location: London (E14) Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights Job Requirements: SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required Security experience is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service Must have an excellent command of English Language Reliable, Responsible and Punctual Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity (first responders) To be vigilant at all times and provide a visible security contact for customers and staff The ability to and think on your feet in fast paced situations - First responders to intruder/fire alarms Must be flexible and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs IT Literate - Basic understanding of access control systems and IT systems/programmes i.e., Microsoft Office for emails This position involves external patrolling throughout the shift so you must be able to stand/walk for extended periods First Aid qualification is a bonus Job Responsibilities: Doors to be checked & ensure they are secure. Record all checks in the DOB & report any issues to the Team Leader / Security Manager. Prevent events leading to crime and report any possible breaches to the physical/technical security of the premises. Fully conversant with the content of the Assignment Instructions & layout of the buildings & surrounding areas. Fully understand the nature and level of service required by the customer, to aid and assist (as well as protect) in a helpful and professional manner Prevent any threat to any tenant or other members of the public and any unauthorised persons entering restricted parts of the premises at any time.
