Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organized, motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant in Training (Apprenticeship) to join the Gledhow Wing Inpatient Pharmacy, Leeds Teaching Hospitals. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to gain a qualification whilst learning the Pharmacy Assistant role. The successful candidate will undertake an apprenticeship for a Level 2 NVQ Certificate over a 15 month period and once completed, can then progress on to a higher level in pharmacy. This role includes performing a variety of pharmacy support duties including labelling and dispensing medicines for Inpatients and discharges, dispensing controlled drugs, reception duties, stock receipt and stock management.
