Established 30 years, theyre stable and not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award -winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire. With a healthy pipeline of new products, recent growth through acquisition, and with investment in the £millions, they currently seek an accomplished Manufacturing Engineering and Projects Manager to lead a team of dedicated manufacturing engineers, working on a wide range of projects concerning new product introduction, continuous improvement and capital spend. We seek the following: Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in manufacturing engineering in a mechanical assembly environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership and management role. Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams and projects. Experience managing significant capex projects, from cradle to grave Proficiency in CAD software for process layout and other engineering tools. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies and will engineer processes with value added activity and waste reduction in mind A passion for people and willingness to guide, coach and mentor a team of enthusiastic engineers to reach their potential Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
