THE ROLE:
As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will build new and manage existing relationships to expand their livestock diagnostics business within the UK & Ireland. Day to day the successful candidate will be making a real difference, helping to keep animals free of disease, selling their portfolio of livestock, dairy and poultry testing solutions, ultimately protecting the supply chain. Typical contacts you will engage with include c-suite level, vets, farmers, lab managers, agribusinesses and educational research institutions. The role is national covering the UK & Ireland including Scotland and Wales, travelling approximately 60% of the time. Full product and company training will be provided, with industry-leading career and earning prospects.

Due to restructuring and growth, this exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience relative to the agricultural, veterinary or agricultural sectors.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Candidates must have a minimum of at least five years’ sales experience, preferably in the veterinary diagnostics sector.
2. A BSc or MSc in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines is required.
3. A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

The Package for Business Development Manager:
* Basic Salary: £70,000-£80,000 DOE
* Uncapped Bonus: £29,000+ paid quarterly
* Fully expensed hybrid car
