Our store
Specsavers, in the seaside town of Rhyl, are looking for a Contact Lens Optician to join their thriving team. A fresh new look railway station and Bus Terminus, at the heart of Rhyl's Promenade, awaits your arrival. The A55 North Wales Expressway runs from Cheshire to Holyhead, with direct links to the M56 - M6 motorway network. Rhyl is under 5 miles from the A55. 6-miles of beautiful, clean beaches join the two resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn. We’re fully equipped with 5 test rooms, the latest clinical technology including OCT and Phoropters. The store really understands the importance of work-life balance, and are open to discussing a flexible working pattern that works for you.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a Contact Lens Certification and excellent working knowledge of contact lens options, features and benefits. You’ll also need to effectively communicate with people at all levels, be adaptable and open to change, have a world-class customer service approach to everything you do, and be driven and motivated to achieve your own and the business’ targets.
