About the Role
We are looking for experienced support workers who has worked in residential and or youth Services that is keen to continue developing their skills in an organisation that has strong values on how we work directly with young people. The support workers will assist young people to achieve their goals, dreams and inspiration. The home supports many young people, everyday will keep you active and no day is the same.
We work with a range of professionals to give our young people a strong start when they move into independence. The candidates must be creative in how they engage with young people aged 16-24 and must have a strong understanding of safeguarding.

Applicants should have
1. At least one year’s experience of children’s homes, semi-independent settings or youth work.
2. Experience of working with young people with complex needs (such as neurodiversity, sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation)
3. Clear understanding of safeguarding Regulations and Procedures. Awareness of the key issues and areas of practice within a residential setting, including security and health and safety.
4. An awareness of issues facing young people such as bullying, gangs, radicalisation, self-harm, sexual exploitation and how these impact on behaviour. Understanding of the impact of trauma.
