A new opportunity is now available working for a group of companies at their office based in Northallerton. The successful applicant will join as a Payroll Assistant on a full-time basis and will be adding to an existing small finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
1. Processing weekly and monthly payroll for circa 50 staff
2. Processing starters, leavers, deductions, and all other payroll transactions
3. Maintaining payroll and employee records
4. Utilising payroll and HR systems
5. Dealing with payroll queries
6. Adhoc accounts and payroll
Ideally, you will:
1. Have recent experience in a payroll position
2. Work with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner
3. Have good attention to detail and a meticulous approach
4. Be confident using payroll or HR systems
