You will use modern technology to assist in triaging each incident alongside your own knowledge to ensure that the best outcome is achieved and that the correct work is completed, ensuring that the data collected is of the highest quality.
The Office Technical Specialist function also ensures that the right 'checks and balances' are in place for our money to be spent wisely.
The successful applicant will be at the heart of day-to-day operations with field teams calling for advice and guidance, ensuring the right work is raised at the right time and that our information and data are excellent.

* Provide Waste Network technical support to a wide number of stakeholders using various media.
* Ensure that field teams complete a “first time fix” wherever possible.
* Support the field teams with various incidents such as pollutions, flooding incidents, blockages, and collapses by ensuring that the incident has been triaged correctly and the appropriate advice has been given and follow-on work has been raised.
* This is a hybrid role working a mix of shifts from home and in the Customer Solutions Centre in Slough.
* There will also be opportunities to work in the field offices to build relationships and knowledge alongside the field teams.
* 36 hours a week on shifts that will include a mix of early, mid, late, and weekend work.
What should you bring to the role?
* An understanding of drainage & waste networks would be an advantage but is not essential.
* Educated to an A level or equivalent or have equivalent experience.

* A proven record of delivering excellent results.
What’s in it for you?
* Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
* Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays).
* Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% - 2x employee contribution.
