Contract Type: 12-month fixed term (maternity cover)
Location: Worcester
Salary: £24,000-£27,000 DOE
My Worcester based client is looking for someone to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis as a legal assistant to their Risk Management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administration experience who has a keen eye for detail paired with a proactive approach.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Undertake routine administrative tasks such as distributing post and managing spreadsheets.
* Work on policy documents, including Complaints Handling Procedures.
* Manage diaries by inputting key dates, sending deadline reminders, and coordinating schedules.
* Maintain communication with regulatory bodies as required.
* Draft, format, and proofread letters, documents, and forms.
* Attend meetings, take minutes, and provide comprehensive support to ensure smooth operations.
* Support the archiving process and liaise with the operations team.
* Handle telephone calls, including interactions with individuals wishing to raise complaints.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Teams.
* A helpful nature and a desire to work collaboratively.
* Experience within a legal or professional services environment is advantageous.
* Previous experience in a client-facing role is desirable but not essential.
