Freelance Project Manager for Green Creative Connections
Published - Tue, 18 Feb 2025
Job Summary
We're looking for a freelance project manager with experience in running community-focused creative and environmental projects for a new ambitious initiative in Lambeth, bringing together environmental organisations and creatives to create community workshops.
Job Description
Green Creative Connections is an ambitious new creative community project, funded by Integrate Agency CIC. The aim of the project is to bring people closer to environmental activities, projects, and volunteering opportunities in Lambeth through creative workshops.
Six environmental projects/groups in Lambeth will be offered creative workshops led by creative professionals, including storytelling, design, craft, creative writing, performance, etc. All workshops will be inspired by the environmental organisations and will be designed and delivered with sustainability and inclusion as the main focus.
For example, a pilot version of this project in Colchester, Essex, involved a butterfly survey followed by a creative writing workshop inspired by the walk.
These workshops will be inclusive and engaging for those communities who are underserved and less connected to environmental projects and creative activities. We particularly want to support adults who are living with ill health.
We are keen to hear from communities that are less well represented in the arts and culture sector, including those from minoritised and underserved communities, disabled people, and people from working-class backgrounds.
This is a freelance position, where you will be responsible for your own tax and national insurance contributions. The total fee is calculated as 30 days of work at £220 a day, totaling £6,600, to be paid in two installments.
