A happy and active autistic twelve-year-old girl who lives in Helston is looking for a personal assistant.
She is very sociable and would like someone with whom she can build a positive relationship and who can provide her with 1:1 support.
A personal assistant would enable her to enjoy time in the local community. She has lots of energy and would like someone to accompany her on walks and other activities.
She is also keen to make friends and needs support to meet other young people.
The rate of pay starts at £12.60 per hour, with the potential for an increase based on the candidate's skills and experience.
There are 4 hours per week available, with flexible scheduling to suit the right candidate’s availability.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
