If so, then we are looking to recruit a pool of Casual Care Workers to support our team of Care Workers within the Beechwood scheme, who work a range of shifts between the hours of 7am up until 10.45pm.
You will be expected to:
1. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
2. Have a person-centred and flexible approach.
3. Be able to work on your own initiative.
4. Work in partnership with families and other agencies.
5. Have good time management skills.
6. Possess good I.T. skills.
7. Ideally, you will also hold a full driving licence.
Duties within this role will include:
1. Working with a small staff team to ensure good standards of support to individuals in their homes to support independence and choice in terms of their daily routines and activities.
2. Personal care routines, household tasks, menu planning and cooking, medication and health appointments, social activities and outings, employment, hobbies, and interests.
3. Supporting people to achieve their desired outcomes.
4. Ensuring good health and safety.
5. You must be willing to develop skills and undertake required training for the role (This will include the East Riding Care Certificate portfolio).
