Locum Clinical Band 8A Pharmacist – NHS Hospital, Cheshire Location: Cheshire, NHS Hospital Contract: Ongoing, Full-time (5 days per week) Hourly Rate: £33 - £36 per hour Agency: Hunter AHP About the Role: Hunter AHP are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Clinical Band 8A Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in Cheshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position with an ASAP start, where the successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care across the hospital. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in an NHS hospital, demonstrating proficiency in clinical pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities: Leading the clinical pharmacy service across hospital wards. Providing expert advice on the safe and effective use of medications for inpatient care. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient medication regimens. Conducting clinical ward rounds and medication reviews for complex patients. Supervising and supporting junior pharmacy staff and trainees. Ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards regarding medication management. Requirements: Must have Band 8A experience or equivalent in a clinical pharmacy role within the NHS. GPhC registration. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to start immediately and commit to working 5 days per week. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment. What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate between £33 and £36 per hour, depending on experience.
