Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health Practitioner (Band 6) to join the County South Local Mental Mental Health Teams (LMHT). We have posts in the Rushcliffe LMHT, Gedling LMHT and the Broxtowe and Hucknall LMHT. LMHT is a community-based service which operates Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Main duties of the job The LMHTs provide mental health services for adults across Nottinghamshire. We help patients and their families cope with periods of severe mental illness and assess, plan and implement a personalised path of recovery. Some of our patients may require short term intervention, and sometimes longer-term care plans will be put in place. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player, working within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability and experience to manage complex cases in partnership with other agencies.
