Part-Time Emergency Department Admin (Craigavon) Craigavon, County Armagh Negotiable Posted May 28, 2024 Our public sector client seeks a Temporary ongoing Emergency Department Admin based in Craigavon This role will be based in a health care setting. Hours will be 18 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota basis, which includes mornings and evenings and nights with the opportunity of additional hours. Successful candidate will be expected to work bank holidays. Rate of pay £11.45 per hour, Saturday and unsocial rate (after 8pm Mon-fri) £16.14 per hour, Sunday £20.95 per hour Duties include: 1.General reception duties, including greeting patients, relatives and members of hospital staff, the public and clergy. Keep up-to-date records of patient location within Emergency Department and Minor Injuries Unit. Register patients who arrive to the Emergency Department on the eEMS database. Maintaining Dashboard. Ensure the smooth running of review clinics. Answer the telephone, record all calls, take and forward messages. Contact appropriate medical staff in regional specialities and in Daisy Hill Hospital for A & E Medical staff to arrange transfer or referrals. Request ambulances if required Arrange appointments for review clinics. Ensuring clinic attendances recorded accordingly. Process disposals on eEMs and ensure follow ups on all referrals forwarded to appropriate service. Open and distribute mail. Maintain computerised patient records as directed. Maintain filing system ensuring that notes are regularly weeded and sent for offsite storage.
