Are you seeking a role that offers hands-on experience in international trade, logistics, and customer service? As an Export and Trading Administrator at DCS Group, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Trading & Export team by processing orders, managing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while contributing to a leading company in the health, beauty, and household product industry!
Key Responsibilities
Trading Support
1. Process and manage sales orders, monitor stock levels, and resolve outstanding orders in coordination with Credit Control.
2. Work with the Transport Team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
3. Arrange customer collections and assist with inbound deliveries from UK and EU suppliers.
Export Support
4. Process export orders, check stock availability, and liaise with Inventory for stock requirements.
5. Handle export documentation, including EUR1s, DGNs, SSNs, and Customs Entry forms.
6. Prepare shipping documents such as Certificates of Origin, legalised invoices, and Bills of Lading.
7. Coordinate container shipments, inspections, and proof of export documentation.
8. Organise and dispatch samples and documentation via courier services.
Compliance and GDP
9. Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and MHRA guidelines for products and medical devices.
General Administration
10. Support customer onboarding and reviews in line with AML guidelines.
11. Identify and report non-conformances by raising Quality Incident Reports (QIRs).
12. Update and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the role.
13. Provide ad hoc administrative support, including preparing photographs and samples for specific projects.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
14. Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above).
Skills and Competencies:
15. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
16. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
17. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
18. An interest in international trade and a willingness to learn new processes.
