Payroll Administrator
Salary – £28,462.08 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

As a Payroll Administrator at FCC Environment, you will ensure the accurate and timely payments of salaries, wages, and expenses to employees. You will ensure the data protection act and statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday; however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
1. Complete weekly/monthly payrolls, ensuring all timesheets, overtime, expense claims, and any other payroll documentation have been processed.
2. Meet processing deadlines.
3. Ensure that NIC and PAYE deductions are made.
4. Record and manually calculate SSP and company sick pay.
5. Calculate any Maternity or Paternity payments due to employees.
6. Ensure all claim forms received from employees are appropriately authorised.
7. Process bonus payments, pension deductions, AEO deductions.
8. Check payrolls to ensure that processing is correct.
9. Possess knowledge and practical experience of payroll, including manual calculations of gross to net, tax coding notices, benefits in kind, statutory/contractual/voluntary deductions, RTI/Auto enrolment legislation.
10. Have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel including V-Lookups and formulas.
11. Work collaboratively at all levels within an organisation.
12. Be flexible and adaptable in approach to work with an ability to multi-task.
13. Manage time effectively.
14. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
