To join the Operations Team and work across a range of Operations Support Contracts. This will include providing day-to-day support to operating assets and supporting greenfield pre-startup projects.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out Process Engineering Calculations, Simulations, and other tasks and produce high-quality reports which are approved by Operations Management prior to transmittal to clients.
* Check the work of peers, Engineers, and Graduate Engineers prior to transmittal to clients.
* Develop process operation procedures.
* Attend relevant Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness training provided by the company.
* Proficiently use the HYSYS Process Simulator and other process software.
* Participate in the Corporate Training and Development scheme and maintain awareness of current issues in Industry and Process Technology.
* Proactively resolve design problems with vendors and third parties.
Scope of Responsibility:
* Carry out work in accordance with ODE Asset Management Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.
* Champion process safety in the OPS support team.
* Clearly understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent.
* Process engineering experience in design/operations.
* Experience related to the oil & gas production and processing industries; brownfield experience is advantageous.
* Participation in a graduate training scheme with a bona fide corporation or institution (e.g., IChemE/IET).
* Chartered Engineer, or at application for Chartership level.
* High tolerance for uncertainty and results orientation.
* A strong work ethic.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Initiative; be a problem solver with a 'Can-do' attitude.
