Team Leader - Public Rights of Way Wokingham PERMANENT £44,711 - £49, 764 Comprehensive knowledge / experience of Council statutory duties in relation to Public Rights of Way Carrying out a hierarchy assessment of the PRoW network to ensure proactive inspections are programmed in to ensure fulfilment of Council duty. Reviewing Greenways project progress update and forward plan. Reviewing the Right of Way Improvement plan and assessing progress towards actions. Addressing backlog of PRoW planning applications. Hybrid with need to attend site visits / office in line with business needs Team Leader, Public Rights of Way We have an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader to join the Public Rights of Way Team, operating within our Green Infrastructure Service here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Team Leader for Public Rights of Way, you will provide support and management to a team of Specialist Officers and use your public rights of way experience to manage priorities and lead on the Council’s major Greenways projects. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders across the organisation and be responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of existing PRoWs and the DMMO process. The Team Leader will also work with senior management in multiple disciplines, to deliver PRoW consultations through the provision of specialist planning advice, the negotiation of associated developer contributions, and contribute to the continuing development of Council policy.
