Permanent Job Opportunity - 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
Salary: Circa £30,000
Location: Cardiff

Job Summary
Our client from Cardiff, a financial advice firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and insights that drive strategic decision-making. They are a supportive close-knit team that values each other, works hard but has fun along the way, and welcomes applications from like-minded individuals.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the Financial Analyst
1. Effectively and efficiently build relationships and confidently speak to clients
2. Support paraplanners and advisers in all file preparation for client meetings
3. Competent on research tools - Selecta pension, Synaptics, Trustnet, and Cashflow Modelling tool
4. Experience in using a CRM system
5. Ability to assist clients with servicing needs such as withdrawals, annual reviews, general queries with the guidance of advisers to an accurate level
6. Competent at preparing annual review reports
7. Processing new business applications and chasing outstanding requirements
8. Excellent communication and organisational skills
9. Accurately able to analyse ceding information from providers and request any missing information
10. Ability to analyse investment funds
11. Completion of general tax calculations
12. Ability to work under pressure to strict guidelines
13. Competently train members of the team with general administrative duties
14. Positively contribute to the team morale and energy, be a great team player
15. Be part of the Investment Committee, research fund performance, strategy, and objectives to present to the advisers
16. Personal responsibility to keep up to date with Compliance testing and knowledge
