Our client, a specialist Wealth Management firm, are looking for an IFA Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis.
As IFA Administrator you will actively support the Wealth team by carrying out general day to day administration of Life, Investment and Pensions, including submission of new online applications / top ups and processing of paper based applications.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Maintain / keep up to date all trackers / spreadsheets as required by the Client Services Manager
2. Running comprehensive IO activities for each piece of business whether it is new business, top ups and any other policy variations for example Change of DFM/Model, Fund Switches
3. Adding fees/ payaways /splits entries to IO
4. Knowledge of Adviser Bandings
5. Knowledge of Introducers / Payaways
6. Oversee management of Annual Reviews and Portfolio Reviews that are due i.e. ensuring delivery and action by adviser and Review Team
7. Assist the Review Team with the preparation of AR’s & PR’s in overflow situations
8. Check Portfolio Reports prepared by Review Team
9. Liaising with clients, solicitors, accountants, life offices, lenders and platform providers by telephone, e-mail, fax and letter
10. Handle administration enquiries / queries as directed by the Client Services Manager
11. Provide training / mentoring to apprentice staff as directed by the Client Services Manager
12. Prepare Platform withdrawals / fund switches / transactions for approval by Senior CSE or Client Services Manager
13. Producing ad-hoc (non-standard) and standard letters in response to customer/provider queries
14. Obtaining life, investment and pension quotations using research tools
15. Presenting quotations to advisers along with relevant data and documents required for the advice to be provided
Key Skills & Experience:
16. The requisite knowledge for the role being undertaken
17. Be working to / maintaining basic administration, technical knowledge and qualifications for the job role
18. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s administration and client service requirements
19. Understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm’s compliance manual and procedures
