For this Senior role you will either be competent in Electrical design or Mechanical design. There is no expectation to be competent in both disciplines. Managing and supporting the career development of one Mechanical and one Electrical Engineer, previous line management experience is preferable. From undertaking either Electrical or Mechanical design and specification work, finding solutions to rectifying defects, organising stand-alone work, programmes for renewables such as carbon-reduction heating solutions, solar PV, etc and supporting the Building Surveyors as part of a design team approach to refurbishment projects. We deal with schools, social care premises, non-housing buildings, listed historic buildings, etc. About the role We need team players who are strong on Health and Safety, confident on AutoCAD, have monitoring contractor electrical or mechanical design and performance on site skills, a flexible approach, good communication skills with the ability to work under pressure in our trusted, busy team of professionals. You will ideally already be qualified, or working towards qualification, as a Building Services Engineer of CIBSE, IET, IMechE or similar approved with relevant experience. We will provide you with a programme of in-house training and CPDs to help you grow and succeed. As an incentive, for qualified professionals, we will pay your annual subs.
