Contract type: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all personnel-related matters and systems
* Updating & calculating holidays, managing absences, and liaising with managers in relation to these
* Managing the HR Ticketdesk and dealing with first-line enquiries (escalating to the People and Operations Manager where required)
* Assisting with payroll at month end
* Overseeing and attending HR events and meetings
* Assisting with employee relations issues
* Supporting any administration for projects
* Managing sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of employment laws, HR functions, and best practices – 1 year minimum
* Strong understanding of confidentiality and the ability to work discreetly in handling sensitive information
* Strong organisational skills
* Strong work ethic and team player
* Ability to work independently
