Our client, a well-established Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join the team.
The role offers flexibility in location as well as hybrid working.
Branch Locations – Truro, Poole & Salisbury
Private Client Tax Manager responsibilities include:
* Manage a portfolio of trust cases and high net-worth individuals, providing tax advice and compliance services, including IHT planning, residence and domicile, and CGT advice.
* Draft reports and letters, prepare self-assessment tax returns, CGT 30-day reports, and handle Trust and IHT compliance.
* Request, collate, and maintain client information while confidently corresponding with clients and addressing their inquiries.
* Maintain direct contact with clients, HMRC, solicitors, and other professional services firms to deliver excellent client service.
Private Client Tax Manager requirements include:
* ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with up-to-date technical knowledge.
* Previous experience in a tax compliance role and drafting reports.
* Understanding of compliance standards imposed by the various regulatory authorities for tax.
* Organised and able to plan time efficiently to meet deadlines – particularly during the January tax return season.
