Salary: £45,000 – £75,000
Are you an experienced PMO specialist looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking talented professionals to join a global organisation with offices across the UK.
As part of this dynamic team, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact PMO functions across a diverse range of clients, with a primary focus on the public sector. If you have a track record of setting up PMOs and successfully delivering programmes from inception to completion, we want to hear from you.
Experience in public sector projects is highly desirable, and expertise in real estate development or workplace transformation would be a distinct advantage.
To be a real success in this role we are looking for experience in the following areas –
Risk Management - Benefits Management - Project Planning - Client facing expertise - Estates or Capital projects exposure
Your Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-performing PMO function.
* Manage large-scale, complex real estate projects or programmes within the public sector, with potential opportunities in the private sector.
* Implement best-practice project and programme management methodologies, processes, and governance frameworks.
* Ensure effective risk management, assurance, and monitoring of project progress.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners to manage dependencies.
* Oversee change control procedures and ensure compliance.
* Track progress against key milestones to align with overall business strategy.
* Capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
* Support Business Unit Directors in achieving strategic objectives.
* Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Identify and drive new business development opportunities to contribute to company growth.
* Deliver profitability and operational excellence in service delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in project and/or programme management post-qualification.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience in PMO governance, quality assurance, and benefits realisation.
* Good knowledge of Risk and Benefits Management
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* A methodical and analytical approach to work.
* Ability to absorb complex information and quickly assess requirements.
* Strong problem-solving, negotiation, financial, and numeracy skills.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Any previous experience with Power BI would be highly beneficial.
* A proactive team player with ambition and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications (Preferred but Not Essential):
* MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) qualification is highly desirable.
* Other relevant project/programme management, real estate, or construction qualifications are of interest.
In return we are able to pay base salaries in the region of £45 – 75k based on experience coupled with a full range of benefits.
