Essential Criteria
* Degree in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration
* State registration
* Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to the clinical fields in rotations.
* Evidence of on-call competencies
* Evidence of a broad clinical background
Desirable Criteria
* Membership of C.S.P.
* Involvement with special Clinical Interest Group
Skills and Knowledge
Essential Criteria
* Clinical reasoning skills
* Clinical Audit
* Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services including experience of quality issues and audit.
* Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust's policies of data protection, equal opportunities, and health and safety and meet the differing needs of patients.
Desirable Criteria
* Ability to run internal/external courses
* Evidence of participation in research
Experience
Essential Criteria
* Broad clinical experience as a band 5/ band 6 demonstrating knowledge in out-patients, Medicine, Respiratory, Elderly Rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and cardiac rehabilitation.
* Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team. Student or Physiotherapy Assistant supervision.
* Contributing to clinical education of less experienced staff or students or assistants.
* Able to cope working in a stressful environment and with emotional or aggressive patients and carers.
* Able to cope with frequent contact with body odours, wound care, and occasional sputum and other body fluids.
