Job summary The Primary Care Gambling Service is looking for a trained Mental Health Nurse (one-year fixed-term contract) with the possibility of an extension depending on ongoing funding. Some experience in dealing with patients suffering from gambling harm/addiction is required for this exciting innovative role. Main duties of the job The Primary Care Gambling Service (PCGS) is an established service nationally with the potential for further expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their knowledge of gambling harm. The service aims to provide a bridge between NHS primary and specialist care, allowing GPs and other trained healthcare professionals to refer patients to the PCGS for support with problem gambling directly.
