About the role: As a flexible supply teaching assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing support to students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH) and other complex needs. This position offers the unique opportunity to work across various settings, ensuring every day is different and rewarding. You’ll assist in delivering lessons, support individual learning and help maintain a positive, inclusive environment for students who may require additional care and encouragement to reach their full potential. Key responsibilities: Provide classroom and individual support to students within a range of educational settings Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external professionals to create tailored learning experiences Adapt to the specific needs of each setting, maintaining consistency and flexibility in your approach Foster a safe and supoprtive learning environment that promotes student engagement and development Assist with classroom preparation and resource management Encourage positive behaviour, helping students develop social and emotional skills Who we’re looking for: Experience working with children or young people is essential.
