D365 F&O Application Support - (Specifically O2C)

I’m working with a long-standing client in the food & beverage sector, based in the North West, who’ve recently completed their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. They’re now looking to bring in an ERP Application Support Analyst on board to support the ongoing stability and optimisation of the platform.
I'm keen to speak with you if you have in depth knowledge & experience within the Finance Module, specifically O2C.
This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative team where you’ll be the go-to for D365 F&O support, playing a key role in issue resolution and continuous improvement of their application landscape.
What I'm looking for / Day 2 Day:
1. This is a hands-on support role focused on the full O2C cycle within Dynamics 365 F&O, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth, efficient order processing and customer billing operations.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for Order to Cash-related support in D365 F&O.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues across sales orders, invoicing, pricing, and credit management.
4. Support day-to-day operational processes within the O2C cycle.
5. Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to maintain process efficiency.
6. Assist with configuration tweaks, testing, and minor enhancements.
7. Escalate complex issues to the wider ERP/Application team or 3rd party where required.
8. Document fixes, processes, and known issues for internal knowledge base.
9. Strong understanding of business rules and system configuration.
10. Ability to streamline and automate processes with smart, practical solutions.
11. Confident in writing technical and functional specs – including integrations, migrations, and config changes.
12. Experience with business workflows.
13. Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Ideal Background:
1. 3+ years D365 F&O Experience
2. Solid experience supporting the Order to Cash process within D365 Finance & Operations.
3. Strong functional understanding of sales orders, invoicing, credit control, and customer accounts.
4. Confident troubleshooting issues and working with end users.
5. Understanding of basic finance processes and how they tie into O2C.
6. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
