HCBS Housing Need are looking to recruit additional Locum staff to work within an established team who are responsible for providing out of hours support and advice to those in housing need. This can include supporting residents with crisis care, advice, sign up of new residents and building safety checks.
Locum Support Worker will be required to work evenings /weekends / Public Holidays (including Christmas & New Year on a rotational basis), sleep-in duties and any other hours required. Staff are based within all of our supported/emergency accommodation within West Lothian.
Sleepover rates are paid at National Minimum Wage
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
