What’s the Role: Support Worker
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions. The ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively, and to utilize a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team supports our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which include tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, and taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humor and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day-to-day life.
Where You Would Work: Locke House, Portadown
Locke House is a busy Mental Health supported living service based in Portadown dedicated to providing innovative, high-quality support to service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.
We employ a flexible, individualized approach, working in consultation with service users to assess needs and develop a range of client-directed goals. Support plans and activities offered promote choice, acknowledge individual strengths, and facilitate inclusion within the community.

Salary Details:
Full Time and Relief Contracts available
£21,131 per annum (Salary based on 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies)
