Role Title: Senior Murex Environment Consultant
Work Location: London
Possibility of remote work: Hybrid – 3 days in office
Contract duration: 12 months
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Murex Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in developing and supporting the CICD pipeline for Murex application development, supporting development and support teams on their day-to-day environment-related issues. You will have the opportunity to propose and implement process improvements that add value to our clients, playing a central role in enabling continuous integration and continuous delivery functions for development teams supporting the DevSecOps framework. You will need to understand the Build and Release pipeline used during the application development lifecycle and create the delivery pipeline necessary to provide infrastructure solutions with development teams for non-production and production environments.
Responsibilities
1. Be autonomous and self-sufficient with strong communication and time management skills.
2. Take ownership and escalate issues when needed, seeing them through to resolution within agreed SLAs.
3. Ensure full compliance with internal procedures as defined by Audit/Compliance.
4. Mentor team members to improve both their technical and personal skills.
5. Contribute to application-centric transformation by closely teaming with other IT teams to deliver environments in an agile, consistent, repeatable, and rapid manner.
Required Qualifications
1. 5+ years of experience in CI/CD engineering and Murex environment configuration and management.
2. Working experience with SVN, GIT, Udeploy, Jira, and other CI/CD tools.
3. Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools.
4. Experience in extracting metrics and results from CI/CD security tools.
5. Knowledge in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring software security pipeline tools.
6. Strong knowledge of popular cloud computing platforms.
7. Strong understanding of network essentials and system administration exposure.
8. Experience with Agile/DevOps framework.
9. Experience in working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. Strong team player skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
11. Strong communication skills.
