We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Senior Accountant with a strong background in SME environments. This role requires a proactive, solutions-focused individual who can manage a broad range of financial responsibilities while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
2. VAT Returns: Oversee VAT reporting and submissions in compliance with HMRC regulations.
3. Statutory Accounts and Filings: Ensure the preparation and timely submission of statutory accounts, annual returns, and corporation tax returns.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and update budgets to provide strategic insights for decision-making.
5. Stock Control: Manage and reconcile stock levels, working closely with operational teams for accuracy.
6. Internal Systems Management: Oversee financial systems and processes, leveraging experience with software such as FloLens.
