I’m working with a well-established semiconductor business that is looking for an ASIC Project Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to lead key ASIC development projects, working with cross-functional teams and taking ownership of the full project lifecycle.
The right person will have experience managing ASIC projects from planning through to delivery, working closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects, track budgets, and meet deadlines.
The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in either Oxford or Bristol office, fully remote is not an option. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship isn’t available.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage ASIC development projects from specification through to GDS2 delivery.
* Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and technical objectives are met.
* Track and report project status, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
* Oversee resource planning, risk assessment, and financial tracking.
* Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 quality standards.
* Provide leadership and motivation, fostering strong communication across teams.
* Support business development by contributing to project planning and cost estimation.
Key Requirements
* Strong project management skills, with experience in tracking and delivering complex semiconductor projects.
* Hands-on experience in ASIC development across one or more areas: Front End design, verification, mixed-signal design, or physical implementation.
* Excellent people management and stakeholder communication skills.
* Previous experience managing multi-site projects in a dynamic engineering environment.
