We are delighted to present an opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to join a growing team in Leeds. This is a customer-focused role where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional claims services to clients. Your expertise as a Claims Handler will ensure that each claim is managed professionally and efficiently from start to finish, while adhering to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage claims across multiple products, including but not limited to Property, Employers & Public Liability and Motor Fleet.
* You will be responsible for your own caseload with cases of varied complexity and values.
* Maintain an efficient diary system for claims and ensure follow-ups are conducted as needed.
* Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as required.
* Acknowledge new claims to both clients and insurers, keeping clients informed throughout the process to ensure the best outcomes.
* Generate claims MI and reports when required.
Experience & Skills:
1. You will be an experienced Claims Handler, whilst it's preferred you have commercial experience, we can also consider those from a personal lines background.
2. You will demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure the best outcome for your clients.
3. Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
