Job Overview:
Responsible for maintaining effective and high-quality domestic services within the community hospital ward and rehab unit which reflects customer need. To assist the estates and facilities manager with administration duties.
Main duties of the job:
1. Day to day management of facilities staff.
2. Work unsupervised and report/escalate concerns/issues to estates and facilities manager.
3. Be prepared to work as a domestic assistant at short notice to cover staff absences.
4. Ensure the meal service is timely and meets the needs of patients.
5. Undertake cleaning audits on a daily, weekly, and monthly check and ensure paperwork is completed.
6. Undertake the rostering, staff PDRs, team meetings, training, and interviews as required.
7. Maintain and order domestic products as required.
