We also strive to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, such as schools and colleges. This role will involve visits to external locations, giving an opportunity to develop effective working relationships with key staff, providers and other professionals. About The Role This is a leadership role, working alongside the Area SEND Manager and other Senior Case Managers to ensure the delivery of a consistent, high-quality SEND service across the South East area of Surrey. As a Senior Case Manager, you will manage a team of SEND Case Officers to ensure we deliver our statutory SEN services (as set out in DFE guidance and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) 2014 legislation) effectively, that service delivery meets performance targets and that resources are used efficiently and effectively. Using your experience of collaboration, you will work with colleagues, Service Managers, schools (including those in other authorities and the independent and non-maintained sector) and external agencies to ensure the special educational needs of children with EHCPs are appropriately met. Bringing a strong customer focus to the team, you will ensure that parents, carers, children and young people are made fully aware of their rights to contribute to the SEND processes and that they are advised of any appeal or dispute resolution processes available to them.
