Due to growth, we now have two vacancies for Monitoring officers to join our head office team to support Wirral & Cheshire and Cheshire & Manchester.
Main purpose of job:
The Monitoring Officer is a pivotal role within the organisation working closely with the Operations Manager in auditing the homes against the fundamental standards as set by the Health & Social Care Act 2014.
The role will involve carrying out audits within the homes as directed by the Operations Manager. This would include quality audits using the approved auditing tools, auditing care plans, reviewing medication systems and other systems within the homes which are in place to ensure that all our homes are compliant with CQC Fundamental Standards (or current standards as amended) along with other relevant legislation. Electronic and paper audits are both required.
Skills required for this role:
GCSE standard of education or equivalent
Professional Qualification in Health & Social Care, NVQ Level 3 or above.
Experience of working in Health & Social Care setting
Sound knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Strong ICT skills including experience of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Full Driving licence and own transport as travelling will be required to different sites.
