You will work closely with the stakeholder and communications lead to support delivery of the programme. You’ll be responsible for: Developing and implementing effective stakeholder management and communications strategies, plans, processes and tools. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Supporting the integration of various disciplines across the programme as well as consultants and contractors. Providing advice to the programme team on stakeholder and communications standards, process and tools. Tracking progress against KPIs and supporting governance and reporting for stakeholder management and communications. Working collaboratively to recognise opportunities, escalate and help mitigate issues, and achieve key objectives. Providing line management and guidance to more junior resources. Innovating and aligning with industry best practice to ensure continued service excellence. You’ll need to have: 5 years’ experience or equivalent supporting the delivery of stakeholder management and communications. Significant experience of writing and implementing effective stakeholder management and communications strategies. Extensive knowledge of functional best practices, methodologies, processes, tools and supporting software including CRM/SRM systems. Ability to manage activities with uncertainty or ambiguity, providing effective consultancy to clients and other key stakeholders to drive outcomes. Understanding of infrastructure or construction projects, and the dependencies and interfaces within the project lifecycle. Experience within the defence sector desirable. Advanced communication and engagement skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form working relationships with and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to distil complex information for a range of audiences including non-technical. Strong attention to detail and the ability to ‘deep dive’ into topics. Resilient - ability to manage challenging behaviours or situations and still secure a positive outcome. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Self-awareness - good knowledge of own weaknesses and knows when to ask for help. Mace behaviours (Curious, Collaborators, Contributors, Champions) - leads by example. You’ll also have: Relevant university degree (e.g. communications or politics) or equivalent. Experience of working in a consultancy desirable.
