Key tasks
Supporting the senior buyer in any delegated tasks, you will:
* Source a range of products relevant to the brand
* Negotiate costs and terms with suppliers
* Learning about competitors and retail trends
Essential Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a positive attitude. You would also need to have:
* Strong numeracy skills and an ability to understand sales analysis
* Exceptional negotiating skills
* Commercial and creative approach
* High level attention to detail
* Confident and adaptable within a changing environment
* Proficiency in Excel and excellent written communication skills
* Ability to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines
* Experience in buying (homewares / textile experience advantageous)
* Own transport due to remote location
Benefits & Salary
Salary is £25-30k per annum, depending on experience.
Ability to work from home 2 days a week (excluding catalogue selection months).
