What to expect
* Preparing, filing and reporting new trademark and design applications
* Attending to formalities requirements
* Drafting responses to objections and other responses before the relevant Registry
* Processing official documents (filing receipts, publication notices, and registration certificates)
* Seeking renewal instructions from clients and attending to renewal of trademark and design registrations before the relevant Registry
* Billing, records database, and other administration duties relating to the aforesaid
Minimum Requirements
* At least 3 years prior experience in trademark formalities either gained in a law firm or patent/trademark Agency
* Experience using WebTMS database desirable
* Able to work without supervision and to demonstrate initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills and a good team player
* Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the client's business and be client-facing
* Completion of CITMA Introduction to Trade Mark Administration and Formalities Course (or a similar Course) desirable
