An exciting opportunity has arisen within Admiral Law's Leadership Team for a Head of Strategy to join the business.
The successful candidate will support Admiral Law on a wide-ranging remit including overseeing strategy development and execution, managing large high-level projects, and being accountable for the broad change agenda.
Key Duties
* Be an accountable leader and member of the Admiral Law Leadership Team, with responsibilities covering: change, data, automation, strategy development and execution, outsourced services, and high-level strategic projects.
* Act as Programme Director for ‘Law 3.0’ – a large-scale strategic review of our ways of working.
* Oversee the large change agenda, managing priorities and business needs, securing necessary resources to facilitate change via the outsourced service provider.
* Oversee our Business Intelligence department, making improvements where required, ensuring that we remain data-rich and that data is at the heart of good business decisions.
* Be responsible for the delivery of an ambitious automation roadmap.
* Identify technology solutions to complement and further enhance our existing tech stack.
* Lead and support the delivery of a number of high-level strategic projects, some of which are under development, and report to Board/Executive level on recommendations.
* Support and contribute to the day-to-day running of a large law firm.
Skills and Experience
* An experienced leader in the claimant legal space, operating at Executive/Senior leader level and used to presenting to Board level audiences.
* Exceptional communicator, used to working in high-pressure environments and to tight deadlines.
* Challenging by nature and an ideas generator.
* Previous experience of developing strategy and strategic recommendations for Board level audiences.
* A proven track record of delivery.
* Managing high-level projects on time and within budget.
* Experience of delivering material cost reduction initiatives.
* Experience of managing large-scale outsource service relationships, extracting value for money and overseeing the delivery of excellent service levels.
* Able to work just as effectively solo and as part of a team as priorities dictate.
