As Funding and Development Officer you will work as a part of the Communities team undertaking all necessary tasks relating to the administration, implementation and promotion of the council’s grant giving schemes, in line with the corporate priorities. Your role will also be to work closely with the voluntary sector and local councillors in order to increase resilience within the sector and to support the council in securing additional funding. We are looking to hear from an enthusiastic, pragmatic and organised individual who is task driven, innovative and forward thinking, with good project management skills and the ability to multi-task and manage a diverse workload to meet tight deadlines. You will have the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written. This post is part-time (28 hours per week) however, flexible working across the week will be required as the role will involve occasional evening work.
