Your Aramark journey starts here Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Cook / Supervisor in their Education sector to join our team at Braintree Institute, Colchester Institute, Braintree, CM7 5SN You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food, deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed. A day in the life of a Cook / Supervisor: Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment Complete daily paperwork and bookwork Placing orders and stock takes HACCAP and Due Diligence Supervise your kitchen team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the kitchen Managing the service daily Managing budgets and stock control Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers Complete all shift opening and closing checklists You will be set up for success if you have: Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Relevant cookery/culinary qualification is desirable; however, we will consider experience too. Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial.
