School Transport Manager required to work in Lochgilphead, this is a permanent post.
The successful applicant will be required to assist the Fleet, Waste and Transport Manager to ensure the provision of Public and School transport is efficient, meets the required quality and safety standards, and provides integration and best value to users by:
* planning required school transport routes and timings, and scheduling effective school transport ensuring best value is achieved
* recruiting drivers and escorts
* managing school transport contracts on a day to day basis
* providing solutions to school transport issues.
* Work with the procurement team in preparing tender documents for school and public transport
* Assist in the budget monitoring process
