Our Bathgate facility has an opening for a Master Scheduler to join their team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Master Scheduler is responsible for the demand and operational planning, including the materials requirements for the Bathgate site.
This role will provide business line revenue forecast information from the schedule, including financial forecasting of Packaging, Distribution, Storage, Courier, Returns, Project Management, Materials, and Depot revenue streams. It will assume the responsibility for accuracy of data flowing from Operational systems into financial forecasting.
The Role
* To create and manage the planning process and drive focus to resolve any immediate, medium or long term risks to supply during the relevant production readiness, scheduling review and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) forum.
* To anticipate and resolve demand, supply and capacity constraint issues within the supply chain ensuring the key metrics for Ready to Execute (RTE), On Time Pack (OTP) & On Time Delivery (OTD) can be achieved. Ensuring inventory management required for plans are always in line with latest demand picture.
* As a leader of the S&OP process at the Bathgate site, the Master Scheduler's key focus is providing analysis of schedule performance and capacity summaries of future demand, highlighting any long-term capacity concerns in line with upcoming demand, as well as reporting on opportunities to increase production where spare capacity exists.
* To work closely with all supporting departments and stakeholders to connect expectations for the demand at the site. To act as the primary point of contact for queries of the site's supply chain and others outside of Operations for questions regarding supply and inventory management plans.
* Support JD Edwards and orchestrate system upgrades, conversions and implementations as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in Operations Management, Scheduling/Planning experience required.
* Degree qualification in business or science and engineering field.
* Knowledge and experience of cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with good interaction and influencing skills.
* Excellent oral communication skills.
* Working knowledge of JD Edwards is desired.
