Workshop Manager – Rewind Division
Location: Kenya, Africa
Contract Type: Permanent or 1–2 Year Contract (based on candidate preference)
Salary: £70,000 – £100,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee and lead the rewind division for a well-established company specializing in electrical and mechanical trades. This is a supervisory role, with minimal hands-on involvement, focusing on overseeing processes, maintaining high standards, and improving workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and oversee daily operations in the rewind division.
* Maintain high-quality standards and improve workflows.
* Lead a team of 54 staff members, inspiring and managing effectively.
* Support the development of the high-voltage business alongside low-voltage operations.
* Liaise with major global clients to ensure satisfaction and project success.
⚡ Additional Services Offered by the Company:
* Rewinding and Overhauling of rotating electrical equipment (motors, generators, and pumps).
* Transformer Services (up to 300kVA / 11kV).
* Mechanical Services: Bearing fits, rotor shafts, slip-ring units, and more.
* Industry-Standard Testing: Insulation resistance, HV tests, load testing, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a workshop environment.
* Knowledge of AEMT or EASA is a plus!
* Strong understanding of low-voltage systems; exposure to high-voltage systems is desirable.
* Fluent English speaker (the team predominantly operates in English).
* A hands-on, process-driven leader with excellent organizational skills.
Working Hours:
* Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-min lunch + 15-min break).
* Flexibility to work on Saturdays/Sundays if required.
