Role: Teaching Assistant – Inclusion Specialist

GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Bournemouth. The school is looking for dedicated candidates who are committed to providing high-quality SEN support to cater to the diverse needs of their students.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students, often on a one-to-one basis, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), additional behavioral needs, and other SEN requirements. Prior experience working in a school setting is essential, along with experience in managing a range of behavioural challenges. The ideal candidate will be skilled in collaborating with class teachers to engage and motivate children, helping them adapt and respond appropriately to their individual needs.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised support to a pupil, enabling them to access learning opportunities and interact effectively with their peers.
